A Saint Patrick School Parent

Parents are an essential part of the St. Patrick School community. We see parents as the primary educators of their children. The education of your child is a partnership of the student, parent school faculty and staff. We encourage parents to participate actively in their child's education.

  • Ask your child what he/she is doing each day in school.
  • Check to make sure your child is doing homework.
  • Provide time and opportunities for your child to read or be read to..
  • Speak with your child's teacher if you have questions or concerns.
  • Take time to talk and listen to your child.

Service Hours
Throughout the school year we ask that parents contribute service hours at the school. 40 hours for a two parent family and 20 hours for single parents. There are many opportunities and needs. Some of these include field trip chaperones, yard duty supervision, fundraising projects and the after school sports programs. Please check the weekly newsletter for some of the current needs.


Fundraising is a vital and essential part of St. Patrick School. Tuition does not cover the cost of educating each student. The cost is approximately $12,000 per year per student. The difference is made through donations, subsidies and fundraising. The fundraising required per family is $400.00. Please see our fundraising page for more information.
